About Norton Priory Museum and Gardens
Norton Priory Museum and Gardens is nestled within a 47-acre site. A decorative 12th-century undercroft features among the attractions alongside medieval monastic ruins. The museum tells its story from its foundation in 1134 through to the later history as a manor house and estate. Artefacts are exhibited, with one of the highlights being a statue of Saint Christopher. Two acres of 18th-century walled gardens boast rocky areas and a wildflower meadow.
