Misleading about the amount of sessions required. I was told at first session that it would take 12 sessions to see a result at an additional cost of £500+ Hard sell calls for days afterwards too. Really unhappy.
Excellent service.Booking method with central hub in bristol was a bit strange as the person gave incorrect information but i managed to find the london clinic.
Regina,Alex,Natalie were very good with guidance and advice..and the treatment was excellent.
.i chose to try another therapy which tailored through a finanical plan i could manage.
Higly recommend this centre
Not clear. Had to cancel a voucher for small area. Bought large & small. Did not say I could not do that on the site. Insisted I went back to Groupon to be reimbursed by them, as they would not allow me to book two separate areas - only one! What a lack of logic. If I’m there and machine already being used on me! First appointment consists of patch test and not a lasering session. Disappointed.
They use the laser on really low setting so don't expect any results. They were really pushy with trying to get me to buy sessions for other parts of my body and more sessions for the same area. After 5 sessions there's barely any difference in the hair growth.
Booking this facial was simple enough, though I wish they provided more information and clear inatructions over the phone for the prep required (avoid the sun and use subscreen for a week beforehand, minimise use of other acids), though it was in the smallprint of the confirmation email sent when I booked the appointment 3 days before the treatment.
The studio was easy to access,a short walk from the station, and clean. The two women there were polite and professional.
The stars given were for the technique of the facial. The beautician was gentle enough but thorough with cleansing my face adequately. The low rating was because I purchased a glycolic peel and this is not what I received. I had done some research myself about what to expect and received none of what I was expecting.
What I got was a low acidity (thus low effectiveness) multi-acid peel, that perhaps contained some glycolic acid - which I can do myself at home.
Furthermore the treatment was left on my face for barely a few minutes, and the most important takeaway that I received from the technician was "this is not strong enough, its just a temporary brightener". Strong enough for what? I hadn't even specified my objectives but she was trying to sell be the deeper treatments from the moment my treatment began, repeating over and over that this is not a "deep enough" treatment.
A glycolic peel is supposed to be a medium depth peel, compared to a deeper TCA peel and a superficial AHA peel but she kept reiterating that it was not a deep peel. When I asked about the percentage of the glycolic peel, she only sidestepped my question, providing me with a brand name of the product she was using, letting me know that she wasnt actually aware of what she was putting on my face.
This was not a professional service at all, and I basically received a cleansing facial, not a glycolic peel. This I suppose voids the need for them to provide me with preparatory instructions beforehand, which makes my first point moot. Furthermore, non-inclusive products were used. The sunscreen used at the end of my treatment left a purple/blueish cast that wasn't event rubbed in well- leaving build up on my cheeks, by my eyes and forehead, which had I not looked in a mirror I wouldn't have known to rub in. This was a product which is not suitable for melanated skin. With the wide range of products available on the market, with price ranges from neutrogena, to CeraVe, to supergoop, up to murad and beyond there is no excuse for not using inclusive products suitable for all skin tones. This was a huge disappointment to top it all off.
So yes it was a nice facial, but it was basically a sales tactic to make me buy their services, and not at all the glycolic peel that was advertised.
I had to wait awhile for my consultation as they're a busy salon, but after my first treatment (which managed to be the day after my consultation because of a cancellation) I've been so extremely happy with my results after one session! I'm noticing results already and I've been recommending this deal and salon to everyone I know
