Health measures relating to Covid-19

  • Guidelines for the hotel staff:

  • Checking and recording the temperatures of all staff members with a non-contact thermometer before the start of a shift.

  • If a staff member has a persistent high temperature of 38°C, they will be dismissed and the relevant health services will be notified.

  • Masks must be worn at all times. Follow the hygiene rules for wearing, removing and disposing of your mask (a mask must not be worn for more than four hours at a time and should be changed it as soon as it gets wet).

  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water or with hand sanitiser.

  • Maintain a distance of at least one metre from other people.

  • Avoid overcrowding in staff changing rooms, canteens and break rooms to allow staff to maintain a minimum physical distance of one metre.

  • Staff must be informed of the obligation to report by phone to the line manager and not to enter the hotel if symptoms of illness (fever, cough and breathing difficulties) appear or if they have been in contact with an infected person.

  • Hotel:

  • The hotel must not exceed 50% of its bed capacity.

  • The management is obliged to suspend performances in closed venues, contact sporting activities in swimming pools and weddings held outside or in function rooms.

  • Information about new sanitary procedures are to be made available to staff and guests throughout their stay.

  • This information may be in paper or digital form.

  • Customer reception and check-in:

  • Provide an area for disinfecting customers' luggage before they enter the reception area (disinfect critical areas such as handles and zips).

  • Check the temperature of all guests with a non-contact infrared forehead thermometer. (If a guest has a fever with a persistent temperature of 38°C they will not be admitted to the hotel and the health service will be contacted).

  • Install hand sanitiser stations at the entrance, in the reception area, near the lift, on each floor of the hotel, and in all public areas and at the entrance to the guest toilets.

  • Pens are available to guests with systematic disinfection after each use.

  • Take the necessary measures to ensure that a distance of at least one metre between guests is respected and maintained (e.g. mark the safety distance of one metre on the floor to organise the queue and avoid guests getting too close to each other).

  • Encourage guests to enter their personal data online.

  • Limit the number of lift users to two at a time, and keep to the minimum distance of one metre between people. (Parents with children are excluded from this limit).

  • Rooms and hallways:

  • Rooms can only be occupied after they have been cleaned, disinfected and ventilated (for a minimum of 3 hours) for new arrivals.

  • Tourist restaurants:

  • The capacity of the restaurant must be reduced to 50% while maintaining the distance of one metre between customers and 2.5 m between tables.

  • One group of a maximum of four people per table (parents with children are excluded from this limit).

  • Make sure that the safety distance of at least one metre between customers is respected before entering the restaurant.

  • Check the temperature of each guest with a non-contact infrared forehead thermometer.

  • Install a hand sanitiser dispenser for disinfecting customers' hands as they enter the restaurant.

  • Use of single-use SME (small operating equipment) or strict instructions for observing the hygiene procedure for cleaning and disinfecting plates and cutlery.

  • Restrict dancing to the immediate vicinity of customers' chairs and prohibit dancing in groups.

  • No night clubs, dance clubs or cabarets.

With an outdoor swimming pool with separate children's area, and two heated indoor swimming pools, one of which is filled with sea water, the Alhambra Thalasso is the ideal place to relax and recharge your batteries. In the 4,500 m2 thalassotherapy centre, a medical team will manage your treatments to perfectly meet your body's needs. Not far from the hotel, there are two internationally-recognised golf courses for golf enthusiasts.

Good to know

If the child is travelling with just one adult, the surcharge may be applied on an adult basis.
