A 30-minute flight and 15-minute boat ride from Malé Airport, five-star Kandima Maldives welcomes its guests to the Dhaalu atoll: a 3 km island with a lagoon and lush nature. The resort consists of studios and villas overlooking the Indian Ocean. During your stay you will take advantage of the delicious food served at the many restaurants and bars throughout the property. You can even relax by the Maldives' largest swimming pool and lose track of time at the luxurious spa.

  • Whether your package is with or without flights, the following transfers are included:
  • Round-trip airport/hotel transfers by speedboat and domestic flights.
  • The domestic flight time is 35 minutes from Velana Airport in Malé to Dhaalu airport, followed by 10 to 15 minutes in a speedboat.
  • The transfer operator can modify his flight plan and consequently the duration of the transfer without prior notice including possible stops due to weather and operating conditions.
  • You also have the possibility to choose the seaplane transfer at extra cost :.
  • Travel time is 40 minutes from Velanaa airport to the island.
  • The round trip transfers airport/hotel by seaplane (optional) are available for arrivals and departures between 6am and 3pm. Outside these times, transfers cannot be guaranteed and you will have to spend a night on the island of Malé at your own expense.

Health measures relating to Covid-19

All our partners (hotels, transfers, activities, etc.) are committed to complying with the health and safety measures relating to the Covid-19 crisis.   • In order to protect both guests and staff, health and safety measures have been put in place:
  • A negative PCR Covid test, carried out less than 72 hours before arrival, is required to enter the island. The test result must be written in English. Without a negative test in English, it will not be possible to access the island.
  • Please check official websites regularly to ensure that entry conditions have not changed.

  • Hotel:
  • A temperature reading will be taken on arrival and during your stay
  • All rooms will undergo improved cleaning protocols with hospital-grade disinfection. This includes thorough cleaning and sterilisation of frequently touched items in the room before each arrival (light switches, door handles, remote controls, thermostats, etc.)
  • All room keys will be disinfected before each new arrival
  • The air conditioning system and carpeting will be disinfected
  • Rooms will be locked 24 hours before each new guest arrives
  • Hand sanitiser will be provided in the rooms as well as in public spaces
  • Restaurants will be rearranged to facilitate social distancing
  • Guests can check in via the "Kandima" app
  • All staff members will have their temperatures taken twice a day

If you are travelling alone, you will be asked to pay a surcharge for a single room. This additional charge will be automatically included in your quote.
Child rates will be applied for children from 2 to 12 years old in the case where the child shares the room with two adults. If the child is travelling with just one adult, the surcharge may be applied on an adult basis.
