About Spa Valley Railway

Welcoming guests on board a steam or heritage diesel train, The Spa Valley Railway strives to promote the historic railway linking Eridge and Tunbridge Wells. Visitors can admire the High Weald landscape from the comfort of a restored 1960s train. At Eridge on green and purple days, guests can alight briefly to see the restored heritage station before returning back to Tunbridge Wells West. At Tunbridge Wells visitors can witness an exposition of historic locomotives and engines, as well as an engine shed erected in 1886. Driving experiences, luncheon, dining and afternoon teas are also available to those who book in advance. The heritage trains can also be hired for a range of private events and weddings.
