- Unconsciousness and recovery position
- Heart attacks, shock, electrical shock and anaphylaxis
- Bleeding, wounds and burns
- Injuries to the bones, muscles and joints
- Concussion, seizures and diabetes
- Meningitis
- First aider responsibilities

About Staffs First-Aid
Based in the heart of Cannock, Staffs First-Aid is a training centre that specialises in first aid courses. These range from emergency first aid at work or school to basic life support and paediatric first aid. A variety of awareness courses for the general public is also available covering the subjects such as the knowledge of CPR and what steps to take if someone is in cardiac arrest. Courses are available at the company's training centre in Cannock, as well as in the surrounding areas including Hednesford, Rugeley, Burntwood and Lichfield.
