The gardens are delightful. As this was early March the Spring flowers and Magnolia were beautiful. Staff were friendly and informative. Cafe very pleasant. This was my birthday treat and was very enjoyable. Would recommend.
Amazing gardens, so well cared for with limited staff.
The gardener had time to talk with you.
The friendly catering staff went out of there way to help with a smile.
The plants purchased are doing well.
The gardens were past their best but there was still plenty of colour and interest, and there were butterflies and dragonflies enjoying it all too. The cafe was delightful with a good selection of tea, coffee, cake and bottled drinks. The whole place was informal and we spent a relaxing and enjoyable few hours there. We noticed a bug trail for children and made a mental note to bring the grandchildren before the end of the summer holiday. Sorry to have missed the open-air theatre production that night.
A very enjoyable afternoon. The gardens are well worth a visit and the cafe was excellent both for a light lunch and a cream tea. Very friendly staff. Would recommend and intend to go again and take friends.
