A therapist kneads muscles in a choice of sports, deep tissue or relaxation massage
What You'll Get
A Thorpe Bay therapist harnesses clients’ chosen technique over the course of 60 soothing minutes. In relaxation massage a variety of pressured strokes seek to induce a serene state of mind. Alternatively, areas of stiffness buried within muscles, ligaments and tendons can be targeted using the deep-tissue method, or a sports massage can aim to aid recovery from soft-tissue injury, or help to reduce the chances of damage occurring in the future.
Groupon asks Karla Voigts, therapist at Thorpe Bay Clinic, to tell us more about the conditions she often encounters and the methods she uses to treat them.
