Really lovely studio in gorgeous Bermondsy (which is a hidden gem) had a chance to have a stroll around whilst we waited for soap to set. Went for the soap making session. Was really good fun, even under current guidelines (this was before lockdown round 2). Booked as part of B'day week - was something different and cute to do. Came away with 7 or 8 soaps each, all made with natural ingredients. Everything was explained well and host was friendly and relaxed. Would recommend and would definitely go back to try some of the other workshops. I booked via Groupon and communication was good with the studio.

Fun interactive activity. Shame there aren’t any examples of what colours come out like etc but we had a lot of fun.

A good afternoon's entertainment, and social event! Soap making was creative but the method used, was already formulated by the tutor, and the resulting soap not the one depicted in the listing.
Overall a good event, but would have liked to have actually 'made' soap!

Really great workshop. Would like to have been able to melt the ingredients together rather than just watching from a far. But would also happily go and try out other workshops here. Good for a girly day out or even for kids. Something a bit quirky to do.

I really enjoyed this experience, the lesson was structured as well as fun. There were lots of us but that just made it feel like more of an event. I would recommend this to individuals or groups.

Was okay- was told the whole session is 90minutes but completed within 30minutes ( but only myself and my child there )
We got about 7soaps between us but I do think they should provide box containers to carry the soap home as only given bag which the soaps weren’t fully set within 30minutes. So the soap were slightly squashed in a small plastic bag.
I do advise - select small moulds to use rather the large ones -as you will get more full size soaps as the soap liquid may not be enough to fill up a large soap mould and bring a plastic tub to put your soaps in to avoid any damage whilst traveling.
Overall, experience is average.

Really brilliant. There was a little bit of disorganisation at the beginning (not enough seats for everyone due to a large birthday party walking in late) but the host (Jos) was very knowledgeable and kept the workshop going. Really recommend this!

It can be used to personalise the wardrobe or homes and making jewelry, accessories or belts. The reason for the rising popularity of the method is the fact that it utilises earth-friendly materials and can have a therapeutic and calming effect on those who use it.
One and a half hour jewelry making workshop gives a basic understanding of methods of using the macramé method, including:
- what are the materials used
- what is the macramé method
- how to use the macramé method
- how to incorporate natural products such as wood, beads, shells, crystals or seeds into the knots
- how to make jewelery using the macramé method
- all materials are included in the workshop
- the workshop takes place on Thursdays at 6 p.m.
