The City's oldest church, bursting with history. The earliest recorded church here dates from 675AD! Inside we'll see a Saxon arch and remains of a Roman pavement. It's also where William Penn was baptized and where US president John Quincy Adams married a local girl. There's a sunken garden and we'll also peek into Nic's Secret Garden - a tiny unused space beside the Church bursting with plants.

Delightful gardens on the site of the old Naval Offices, where celebrated diarist Samuel Pepys once worked. The gardens also offer a glimpse of 17th Century history commemorated in paving stones, including one depicting a giant parmesan cheese Pepys buried in his garden to escape the Great Fire! We will also see the delightful medieval church of St Olave's Hart Street which Pays called 'our own church'.

Perhaps the City's. most beautiful and evocative garden, housed in the ruins of a Christopher Wren church, named for a 10th Century saint who met the Devil. It was part-destroyed by a bomb in World War Two but its surviving tower and atmospheric gothic windows are the perfect backgrounds to the tranquil planting and fountain.
