The Parsonage stands at the top of the village beside the church and on the edge of the open moorland, a setting that deeply influenced the sisters’ writing. You now have two hours of free time to explore Haworth at your own pace. The village itself is full of character, with its steep cobbled Main Street lined with traditional stone buildings, independent shops, bookshops, and welcoming cafés. Much of Haworth has retained its historic charm, and as you walk through the streets you can still sense the atmosphere of the 19th century.
