London Walks&All

Select Option

1888 Whitechapel. The grizzly streets of Victorian London. In what was to become known as the Autumn of terror five women were subject to the most brutal of murders. Thus began the greatest murder mystery in British history. As a former New Scotland Yard detective I will lead you on a tour of the murder locations. I will tell you of the tragic lives of the victims. How could the murderer vanish into thin air? Why with so much police resources was the murderer never caught? The suspects. Was there a Royal connection? Why do the police refuse even, 130 years after the murder, refuse to release secret files? Or was the murderer a barrister a doctor or was he a butcher? I will tell you about the sensational news reporting. In our walk we will trace the last few hours of the victims. We will also see the streets where they lived and the pubs the victims drank in. We will also hear about a sensational DNA discovery that claims to have finally identified 'Jack the Ripper'
