What You'll Get
Our adventure begins! We will leave from Edinburgh heading towards Falkirk, a place where a great battle took place. We will pass the mysterious Kelpies, and shortly after we will see from the distance the Stirling Castle and the incredible monument to William Wallace. Do you know who was the real Braveheart?
Going into the Trossachs National Park, we will make our first stop at the beautiful Falls of Dochart, where we will give you enough time to enjoy the great views and walk around the area. You will also get a chance to get a tea/coffee or a fantastic Scottish breakfast in a local atmospheric bar lit mainly by candlelight and decorated with various antiques including Jacobean swords and Flora.
We will continue our adventure towards the Highlands, where the landscape will begin to change drastically. The southern plains will transform into beautiful lakes, enchanted forests and rugged mountains full of history. Here we will make a short stop shortly before crossing Rannoch Moor, which is known as one of the most inhospitable places on the planet.
Further north, we will arrive to Scotland’s most famous valley, Glencoe. Here we will make a stop to enjoy its incredible views. You will be moved by the beauty of its mountains that may make you forget the tragic stories that once happened in this place.
Before passing the small town of Fort William you will hear the stories of Vikings and the first tribes of Scotland that still today remain a mystery. Shortly after we will arrive at Fort Augustus, the gate of Loch Ness and the famous Caledonian Canal. You will hear every story and legend of this magnificent loch and will give you enough time to eat and go hunting for the famous Loch Ness monster on one of the cruises if you are one of the most daring.
We will continue our journey through the mountains of the Cairngorms Natural Park and the beautiful forests of Perthshire. It will be then when we arrive at Pitlochry, a very nice Victorian town where we will make a small stop and where the most daring will have a chance to try the real Scottish whisky.
At the end of our tour to Loch Ness on our way back to Edinburgh, we will drive through the famous Forth bridges, three bridges that span three centuries. The Forth Railway Bridge is the oldest metal bridge in the world with the category UNESCO Heritage Site.
