The Comedy Store is an iconic venue in the heart of London's West End. The birthplace of alternative comedy, its stage has been home to some of the biggest names in the business. Paul Merton, Michael McIntyre, John Bishop & Mike Myers are just a few of the acts who kick-started their careers there and who still return from time to time for impromptu performances.
From humble beginnings above a strip club in Soho, The Store has grown to be the leading name in live comedy and celebrates 40 years of laughter in 2019.
The Store’s Comedy Week offers everything from topical news-based comedy from The Cutting Edge team to the very best in Comedy Improv from The Comedy Store Players. Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening The Comedy Store offers The Best in Stand Up, classic stand-up comedy featuring some of the finest comic talent from around the globe. The Store is also hosts an open mic night King Gong, on the last Monday of every month where anyone can jump up to try and last 5 mins.
