We will wander down to the banks of the River Ness, where we will stop at the statue of the Three Virtues. Here you will find out about the statues, as well as the history behind their location at the Wychway - spellbinding tales of witchcraft abound!

We will walk along the banks of the River Ness until we get to the Infirmary Bridge (affectionately referred to as the bouncy bridge by locals - step on to find out why!). Here you will find out about the history of the bridge, and also of the area's famous 17th Century prophet; the Brahan Seer, many of whose predictions have proved to be eerily accurate over the years.

Find out all about the building of one of the city's most beautiful buildings, including why it was never finished, and who its most famous horse is!

Find out the history of this recently-restored Victorian gothic building, and the mercat cross outside. From here, our thoughts turn to the tolbooth with its towering steeple; the original jail is thought to date back to 1436, and your guide will tell you the tales of the building's hidden whisky!

As we walk through the centre of the town there are plenty of sights and stories on the way, with a stop at Dunbar Hospital being next on our list. This is one of the oldest buildings in the city, and is said to have been built out of stone taken from Oliver Cromwell's destroyed citadel.

Our tour finishes at the High Church, where your guide will regale you with stories of bloody Jacobite battles and body snatchers!
