Shona Ann Hill Holistic Therapist makes use of an African rungu to work deep into the muscle tissue and release tension from across the body during a 75-minute massage. The rungu is a wooden baton that allows the therapist to apply a greater amount of pressure, which is particularly useful for targeting knotted muscles. The salon in central York is conveniently open six days a week, and until 5.30pm on Saturdays.
