Hair is prepped with a wash before new styles are snipped into shape (usually £27). An optional hot oil hair treatment (£15) aims to revitalise the condition of strands, and a blow-dry finish adds some extra bounce to the new look. Clients can also choose to shed some light on tired tones with a half head of highlights, or enliven shades with a full head of colour (£120).

The Merchant

Part of the Adee Phelan franchise, the salon at the Old Bank in The Custard Factory offers traditional hairstyling services alongside straightening and relaxing treatments, as well as extensions. Owner Adee Phelan is an award-winning stylist who featured on Channel 4’s The Salon, and has worked with a wide range of celebrity clients.
