The Merchant

Large windows in Fishmore Hall’s orangery look out onto the Shropshire Landscape, in keeping with the opulent manor house’s decorated halls. The Georgian house hotel also features en suite rooms, with luxury ranging from walk-in and waterfall showers to double-ended baths and full wet rooms. Decadent views overlook the lush greens out towards Clee Hill and the tips of Ludlow Castle’s spires.

Guests of the hotel overall praised the views and location, and thought the standard and housekeeping of the venue was above average. The food in the restaurant was also a highlight, including the afternoon tea, breakfast and dinner.
