The Tents
Bringing their award-winning concept to Edinburgh for the first time, Campingninja provides campsite accommodation for the UK’s biggest sporting and outdoor events. The campsite at Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Centre allows space for Fringe artists and visitors to bring along their own tents, caravans or motorhomes, or to reduce the packing burden by booking pre-pitched tents. Regular buses and trams run between the campsite and the city centre, ready to take visitors to all the action.

Guests will arrive to find their pre-pitched tents ready and waiting. The two-person tents feature a sleeping pod as well as a small porch area. Meanwhile, the four-person tent has two separate sleeping pods, plus a communal living area.

The pre-pitched tents will be located within the Ninja village, in a choice of the family or general camping zone.

On-site facilities include everything from charging points, to separate male and female showers and washing up facilities. Those with their own gas cooking stoves can use them in the covered area, while catering facilities will also be available.

Guests can enjoy benefits such as Argentine barbecues and the Hay & Bale Bar & Kitchen, which serves real ales, as well as hot showers, Ceilidh evenings, whisky tasting and the ultimate campsite pub quiz to name a few

Kids can be entertained in the campsite play zone, while there will also be an open stage for performers to stage their acts during breakfast.

Campers must bring along their own sleeping and kitchen equipment, or can opt to include all these extras for a surcharge. These include a sleeping bag for a £20 surcharge, a single mattress for £10, and a pillow for an additional £7.
