Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels comes to the stage once again in a production featuring TV actor Michael Praed and guest star Mark Benton. Based on a hit film released to critical acclaim in 1988, the play centres upon a louche English con artist who meets his match in a protégé fraudster amidst the glamorous backdrop of the French Riviera. The warring conmen begin to plot to outwit each other and seek to rid a millionaire heiress of her fortune. Written by seasoned scribes Jeffrey Lane and David Yazbek, the production harks back to a golden age of musicals with its array of swinging, satirical tunes.
