The Big Outdoor Show
Taking place over the second bank holiday of May, The Big Outdoor Show comes to Milton Keynes’ Willen Lake. The show gives outdoor enthusiasts a chance to explore all sorts of adventure activities and see sport demonstrations ranging from bike jumps to para motoring, all-terrain boarding and boating. There will be a chance to peruse some of the latest products and travel services from big-name brands, as well as catch some inspiring and educational talks on everything from polar expeditions to survival training and children’s water safety. Entry is available for adults and children aged eight to 16, with under eight’s able to come along for free. Weekend tickets include a vehicle pass, with two adults able to attend Sir Ranulph Fiennes’ talk about a lifetime of expeditions and travel, while families staying for the weekend can catch both Ellie Bedford and Sir Ranulph Fiennes’ seminars. The campsite is open from 2pm onwards on Friday 22 May, with a welcome party starting at 6.30pm, while additional entertainment in store on Saturday and Sunday evenings featuring live bands, licensed bars and food stands.
