The Deal

Wine connoisseurs can practise their tasting techniques as five English wines are presented for sniffing, swilling and sipping. Palates will be tickled by a selection of white, red and rose wines, served in 20ml glasses. A glass of mulled wine and plate of mince pies will also accompany the proceedings for a festive twist. A 10% discount on any full price wine in the store is also up for grabs.

The Merchant

The family-run Kerry Vale Vineyard is spread across six acres of Shropshire greenery once home to a Roman fort. The vineyard was planted in 2010, and produces a range of still wines. An on-site kitchen and cafe serves meals and refreshments, and a shop plies the site’s wines. Tours and tastings are held throughout the week for individuals, groups and societies alike.
