Novice bird handlers can swoop down to the grounds of Wootten Park to learn the tenets of falconry from a seasoned tutor. Visitors can handle birds of prey such as Egan the peregrine falcon or Alfie the great horned owl, learn about the history of falconry, and receive practical instruction. The session is supervised throughout, and lasts around two hours.
