Jumping straight in to a main course, diners can select a 10oz rib-eye steak with potato mash, vegetables and a choice of flavoured butter. Other options that may be available include chicken breast with bacon and chive sauce, toasted pine nuts, wilted spinach, wild mushrooms, and sautéed baby potatoes or beer battered Cornish whiting with chunky chips, mushy peas, and tartare sauce. A dessert provides a sweet finish with the likes of vanilla crème brûlée with white chocolate cookie or apple and blackberry crumble with custard. A choice of local cider will also be served to accompany meals.

Classic pub fare takes on a local focus at The Crown Inn where the emphasis is placed on using regional suppliers and producers to create seasonal dishes. The pub boasts an extensive cider list which features over 34 different local varieties that can be enjoyed. As well as monthly tasting sessions, the establishment keeps its punters involved with its annual Cider, Beer and Music Festival that takes place between 2-4 May. The event features everything from an open mic session and pig roast to a bouncy castle and competitions for children.
