What does thread vein treatment involve?
Following a consultation, the treatment involves a series of diathermy procedures, each working to help collapse and fade an individual vein. Sessions are generally quite brief.
Which areas can be targeted?
This treatment can be used on any area of the face or body. It can to be used to reduce the visibility of spider or red thread veins within an area of 4.5cm x 4.5cm on the body and 2.5cm x 2.5cm on the face. Two or four areas can be treated in a single appointment.
What aftercare is needed?
For legs clients must wear compression stockings for a few days after leg treatment to minimise swelling. Avoid exercise, energetic activities and flights for two weeks. After facial sessions avoid the sun, exercise and tanning beds.
