Pairs or groups of four can get some hands-on experience with a mob of meerkats (usually £99), starting with hand feeding and helping with enrichment for the small fury friends. During the second part of the encounter, guests will be able to handle the centre’s hand-reared meerkats, who are very tame and likely to snuggle up and doze on comfy jumpers. Soft drinks are provided, and the facility has free parking for all guests.

The Merchant

Will’s Wild Animal Encounters houses all manner of exotic creatures, including eagle owls, Burmese pythons, servals and giant African land snails. It was opened in 2010 by its eponymous owner Will Dorrell and is run out of Hoo Farm, where he worked as Demonstrations Manager before setting out on his own. As well as being able to meet the animals on-site, guests can also have the creatures brought to their event courtesy of a Will’s Travelling Animals encounter.
