Canoes and kayaks are used to bring children and adults along with the current or send the more adventurous down speedy white water rapids.

Starting from their base in Bishops Stortford, experienced instructors will get the two hour course underway as they lead students out onto the River Stort. Solo paddlers will be sat in a kayak while duos will cruise along in canoes practicing their new skills. The course covers safe movement into and out of the boat as well as the basics of effective manoeuvring on the water. With these mastered, the group of learners will go on a short river trip, exploring the surrounds and perfecting their technique.
