Return to the Forbidden Planet

Rock and roll anthems abound as the Olivier Award-winning musical Return to the Forbidden Planet arrives on stage at the Palace Theatre. Penned by Bob Carlton, the show is a science-fiction odyssey inspired equally by Shakespeare’s drama The Tempest and 1950s cult film Forbidden Planet. Since its West End debut in 1989, the show has received an Off-Broadway production and captured the hearts of audiences across the world. The 25th anniversary tour features a host of special effects as well as an appearance by Queen’s Brian May via video link.
