The Show

Performing since 1978, UB40 are heading back onto the road to play a selection of material in this run of gigs. The band released their acclaimed debut album Signing Off in 1980, and have since gone on to release a huge amount of UK Top 40 singles, selling over 100 million records along the way. Getting Over The Storm, their latest Top 30 effort, gained rave reviews from the musical press and was selected as BBC Radio 2’s album of the week on its release in September 2013. This year members of the group will come together once more to perform live, with Robin Campbell on guitar and vocals, Brian Travers on saxophone, Earl Falconer on bass, James Brown on drums, Norman Hassan on percussion, trombone and vocals, and Duncan Campbell on vocals.

Reviews

A UB40 show in 2014 gained a positive review in Louder Than War, with the critic praising their ability to get the crowd moving, as well as the delivery of some of their newer material. The band have also gathered more than 1.1 million likes on Facebook, as well as over 9,400 followers on Twitter.
