Up to six revellers can whizz round a 325m track in this choice of party, suitable for a birthday, stag do or corporate event. Kids from eight to 14 years old will drive a Sodi Junior kart for up to 20 minutes, and pick up a medal for their participation. Adults over 14 years old will get behind the wheel of a Sodi GT5 complete with 200cc Honda engine for half an hour of driving. Both parties will see the top three drivers get a podium finish and trophy, and all guests will get complimentary membership to the centre and a balaclava. They can also sip unlimited juice, and make use of one hour’s hire of a party room.

The Merchant

Based on the outskirts of Rochdale, TeamKarting offers a host of racing-themed activities for petrolheads. They can turn up for an individual or group open session lasting up to 40 minutes, or book a team endurance race for a test of their tactics and teamwork. Grand prix events are available for groups of 16 or more, and the centre also hosts kids and stag parties, plus corporate events which include use of conference facilities. The 325m track features 12 bends and hosts up to 10 karts for its array of races.
