Update your account details

You can manage and update most of your account information directly from your Groupon account settings. This includes your personal details, password, email preferences, and location settings.

What you can update

From your account settings, you can:

  • Change your password

  • Update your email address

  • Manage email notifications and marketing preferences

  • Update your location and language preferences

Some account details, such as your account creation method (for example, Google, Apple, or Facebook sign-in), cannot be changed.

Changes are applied immediately, but some updates may require email verification.

Updating your email preferences

You can control the types of emails you receive from Groupon, including deal alerts and promotional messages.

To update your preferences:

  • Go to Account > Email preferences.

  • Select the emails you want to receive.

  • Save your changes.

Please note that transactional emails (such as order confirmations and refund notifications) cannot be turned off.

Location and deal preferences

Your location settings help ensure you see relevant local deals.

If you’ve moved or want to browse deals in a different area:

  • Go to Account > Profile.

  • Update your city or region.

Trouble saving your changes

If your updates don’t save:

  • Make sure you’re signed in to the correct account.

  • Refresh the page and try again.

  • If you’re using the mobile app, ensure it’s updated to the latest version.
