The Deal

This course provides 12 months' access to online training materials that cover numerous aspects of the relationship between nutrition and sports. The course materials survey food groups and the different ways in which the body makes use of them during exercise. Other modules detail the energy requirements of specific types of sport and provide suggestions for optimising nutrition to aid recovery. If participants pass a final online exam, they are awarded a Fitness Training Company certificate in Sports Nutrition, which will be available for download at the end of the course.

The Merchant

The Fitness Training Company provides courses and qualifications in various fitness-related areas, from physiology to instructor training. Highly specialised tuition is also available, with instruction in areas such as fitness for pregnant women, kettlebell exercises and sports nutrition. Some courses can be taken online, while others involve practical workshop sessions and hands-on assessments.
