About Flight Sim Centre
Located within the Flight Sim Centre which is close to Newcastle International Airport and helmed by a qualified aerobatic display pilot with over ten years' experience, Virtual Reality Centre offers budding pilots a chance to get behind the controls of simulators. Visitors can try flying a Boeing 737, with options ranging from short trial flights to flying a circuit of Newcastle Airport or even taking on the infamously challenging approach at Kai Tak Airport, Hong Kong. Alternatively, hop behind the controls of a F/A-18 Hornet fighter jet for a fighter pilot experience, or don a VR headset to try out dogfighting in a Spitfire. Sessions can be arranged for special occasions, with simulators available for transportation to a particular location, while the company also offers pilot refresher sessions, stag and hen parties, and more.
