Hotel
The 4-star Vitalhotel Sonneck wellness hotel is located on the edge of the forest just outside Bad Wörishofen. The rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi and satellite TV, and some also feature a balcony with picturesque views of the Unterallgäu countryside. The restaurant serves regional German dishes as well as Mediterranean cuisine.
The Vitalhotel Sonneck’s wellness area offers a wide range of relaxation options, including a fitness room, sauna, and steam room. Guests can also pamper themselves with massages and beauty treatments.
The hotel is just a 10-minute walk from the Bad Wörishofen spa gardens, while Bad Wörishofen train station is a 20-minute walk away.

The spa town of Bad Wörishofen is located just under an hour’s drive west of the Bavarian metropolis of Munich and about 60 km southwest of the university city of Augsburg in the Swabian district of Unterallgäu in Germany.
The surrounding nature offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. Contemplative walks are especially popular in the spa park, which covers an area of 163,000 m² in the west of the town. The 1,550-meter-long barefoot path for the whole family is promoted with the slogan “Going barefoot is in!” The 23 interactive stations are designed to strengthen the feet and promote overall health — a concept originating from the priest Sebastian Kneipp.
In the 19th century, Kneipp established the five pillars of health:
