Best value My wife and I spent just one night at this hotel and it turned out to be the best value stay we have experienced. Parking was easy and convenient to reception and our greeting was warm indeed. Our room was a good size and well equipped with coffee maker, kettle and the usual milks and biscuits. A nice sized tv in a comfortable room having two decent chairs. The mattresses gave a perfect sleep. The whole hotel was very clean and warm though there were a few signs of it being a little tired. The bar/restaurant was comfortable and the food selection and service very good. Breakfast was self service, guests being warmly greeted by Mel who explained the procedure and what was available. We found it very good and the choice more than adequate. We intend to revisit in the better weather but next time will spend a few days using the hotel as a base from which to visit old haunts in Lancashire. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay what it was, really good.

Very positive experience We visited Bury for a few days as one of our children has moved up here for work. We had a lovely time at the hotel. The room was great, staff all very friendly and helpful, bar open 24/7 and breakfast was delicious. Other guest were all very friendly as well. All in all couldn’t have asked for more from a hotel really. We will be back next time we are up to visit _

Clean and comfortable _ We are staying here right now and I can't find anything to complain about. I can't speak about all the rooms, but our room is more than adequate for the price we paid !! Clean, comfortable & sizeable _ The receptionist was welcoming & friendly whilst remaining professional. It's always useful to remember that you can't expect champagne when you have paid for lemonade _‍♂️

Ignore the Negative Reviews Me and my mum stopped her for the night on Friday 5th December before heading into Manchester for the day on Saturday. My mum was a bit worried about staying after reading some reviews. When we arrived we was welcomed by a lovely lady on reception, which was bright clean and welcoming. The grounds to the hotel are beautiful. Checked in quickly and went to our Room. Doors to rooms are a tiny bit outdated but nothing to be negative about. Room was warm and clean, bed very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Food hot and plenty of variety. All the team were very friendly. Would definitely stay again, we got a great deal for the 2 of us with breakfast was £66
