Groupon’s Guide To Nottingham

With an estimated population of over 300,000, Nottingham is a city in the ceremonial county of Nottinghamshire in the East Midlands. Also known as the capital of culture and shopping, the city is an ideal location for teenagers and adults alike.

Once in the region, holidaymakers may visit the famous Wollaton Hall, a 15th-century Grade One mansion, designed by Robert Smythson and built by Sir Francis Willoughby between 1580-1588. Other attractions such as the Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall, located in the heart of the city and part of the Royal Centre, await travellers with cultural events and plays, while history enthusiasts may visit the Nottingham Castle, also known as Castle Rock and a major royal fortress in the Middle Ages. Plenty of shopping opportunities may be found at one of the numerous shopping centres and markets, where customers may get a glimpse of traditional products and local traditions.

Poor experience It is difficult to rest in summer in this hotel. The air conditioning is unbearable, it does not regulate the temperature, it just blows cold air and makes a terrible noise. The facilities are very old (one of the elevators did not work). A pitiful trickle of water reaches the sixth floor, with which showering is a matter of patience. I give it two stars because the staff is five, but the hotel doesn't deserve one.

Adequate but flawed. Good only for where it is located. I'll be honest, I expected more for what I paid. (I paid a slightly higher price due to popular dates compared to what I see the average price to be.) The bed was a lumpy spring-mattress; the WiFi was awful... So bad that even their own TV could not playback streaming service content; the air-con was awfully loud, even when set at its lowest. And in our room we could hear the constant low rumble of the air filter units on the roof. I had an awful night's sleep. It is at least centrally located, and the room is fairly well furnished and perfectly 'adequate' but were I staying any more than a single night, I'd have complained a lot or simply found somewhere else. This was a solidly middling experience, not one I'd gleefully recommend.

Great size room, very. Clean and tidy, city. Centre position Stayed here for a night out, lively hotel, reasonable priced bar, rooms very clean and tidy, usual tea. And. Coffee. Nice bar staff, guy on reception came across a. Bit. Short to start with as we were early, but sorted rooms out very quickly. Great location for pubs, clubs and theatre. Definitely will stay again when in Notts.

In the right place but not the best I felt like I was staying in a students quarter, the internet was run=bbish very intermittent, this makes the stay frustrating. A hotel without good internet is not caring for its residents, should be a top priority, no excuses.
