The Hotel
Hidden away in a secluded, wooded valley, high in the Shap Fells, The Shap Wells Hotel is surrounded by mountain streams, with Birk Beck almost on its doorstep. The location invites families and all guests interested in an exploration of the Dales, Lakes and the English and Scottish border counties with red deer, red squirrels and other wildlife found in the neighbouring areas. It’s perfect for woodland Walks and a great base to explore the lake district.
Many of the rooms have breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and fells, offering a true taste of the English countryside. The hotel has retained many of its original features over the years and much time has been taken to retain the true character of the building however the cosy rooms are equipped with modern amenities like flat-screen TVs or tea and coffee making facilities. Peckish guests can find a variety of dishes in the on-site restaurant or order something. Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire venue. Complimentary parking is available at the front and rear of the hotel.
