Guests may simply recharge their batteries by taking advantage of the natural tranquility or adventure on outdoor activities.

The individually decorated rooms are designed to ensure a comfortable stay by being fitted with large beds and crisp linen, TVs, deep baths, and toiletries with towels.

The on-site AA Rosette-awarded dining room offers a pleasant dining experience with views over the gardens. Briery Wood puts accent on the local produce Lake District has to offer: from tender Herdwick lamb and spicy Cumberland sausage to freshly caught trout, potted shrimps, Cumbrian cheese and chutneys.

Very pleasant stay, the gentleman who greeted us was great, very helpful. Was surprised later however, that the person on bar did not know how to make a mojito and when I settled for a gin, he had no garnish. Good breakfast, very attentive staff. Would stay again.
