Groupon’s Guide To The Scottish Highlands

Guests may go rambling around lakes and hillsides or trek the known routes in the Beinn Eighe nature reserve, near Kinlochewe. Walking aside, many fishing areas and golf courses are dotted around the area for more conventional activities.

Visitors may explore the great outdoors, taking to Loch Linnhe with a boat ride out to Seil Island for a nature-spotting trip. They may keep eyes peeled for herons and seals, with the odd porpoise known to sometimes make an appearance. Travellers may head north towards Fort William and find throat-warming ventures in the Ben Nevis Distillery at Lochybridge. Further afield, potentially snowy peaks can be sought on Glencoe Mountain, and visitors may even enjoy a whizz on the ski slopes.

The only good thing is the view! The only thing what is good is the view. They are making a renovation on the second floor en they rent out the 3th floor. So every morning at 8 you will get out of bed! They will make you, with drilling and other noise. There is a leakage in the roof and the carpet in the hallway is wet, so your carpet in your room will be damp too. Nice if you want to use the toilet, ow yes the container of the toilet wasn't filling up. They repaired it but I don't think it was enough, the mechanic was nice and did what he could. Thank god I stay here for 1 night. You will not see me here again. And my reservation in Caledonian hotel in Everness is cancelled also. The rooms are also very old, noisy and the plumming is badly done.

Lovely breakfast Check in quick and easy, we were in a twin room which was pretty small, toilet was not great which included a piece of excrement, a lot of work is being done in the area and the noise of workmen coming and going throughout the night was very loud, view from room was lovely, great location, breakfast was great, lovely staff

Do not stay here!!!!!! Do not stay here!! Terrible service, food, rooms not clean. It was damp and smelly. Staff was not nice. The three meal dinner was terrible. Avoid!!!

Awful food, disgusting. Had the 3 course evening meal. The food is awful with the cheapest low quality ingredients. The curry was processed pieces of fake chicken with a weird texture. The sauce that tasted as though it came out of a cheap jar. Yuck. Prawn cocktail was served in a soup bowl, bagged salad, pre-frozen prawns and a spoonful of cheap tasting prawn cocktail sauce from a jar. Disgraceful for £25, would have been better with a couple of bags of crisps. What is happening to hotel food in the UK?
