Lovely clean hotel We went to kingslynn for overnight stay, booked on booking.com, we were contacted on the morning of our arrival to inform us that original hotel we had booked had cancelled our booking and to choose another hotel. We chose this one,was a bit sceptical but we couldn't have picked a better one! Young man on reception ( sorry didn't get his name) very helpful and pleasant. Our room was clean...in fact one of the cleanest bathrooms in a hotel I have ever stayed in, towels lovely and white. Didn't have breakfast but had a glass of wine in bar area on first evening. Would definitely reccomend!

Absolute money maker, should not be allowed Parking fine for charging at a Tesla station after asking the reception desk if I needed to sign in, to be told “no you’re only charging”. The fine is 6x more than the cost of charging. I do not see parking charges at designated petrol pumps.

Extremely Dirty The dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in! The carpets and rooms were not cleaned during our 5 night stay and the blinds in the bedroom dining room had layers of dust on them.

Could do better. We stayed at the Dragonfly Hotel Kings Lynn at the end of August to attend family celebration nearby. Location was good, in terms of easy access to elsewhere. In an industrial estate, but grounds big enough to avoid noise. Room was immaculately clean and comfortable. Reception/ greeting was luke warm and generally, in my opinion staff need training on how to interact with guests (see below). Decor dark brown and very tired in places. Wifi didn't work in the room so we had to go to reception area to connect. Hence, not all TV channels worked in the room - only terrestial ones. Receptionist was offhand about this "Yeah, we've been having trouble with this. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't." All aspects of catering need to be better. We had an evening meal there (Friday) which offered a very limited menu - curtailed even more by lack of availability. Tables were all sticky to the touch - I don't think they'd been wiped properly and there were many uncleared. The food was of the type that would seem to be prepared from freezer to microwave to (cold) plate. To be fair, my pizza was good. The dessert menu was limited to only one available option - sticky toffee pudding. When requesting other options the response from the lady behind the bar/bringer of food was a curt "Ain't got none." I opted to make myself a coffee from the machine. Weak brown liquid emerged twice. Barman said it must have run out (like the dessert menu.) My wife's sticky pudding (very small portion) arrived covered in thick luke warm custard, which she couldn't manage as it was so unappetising. Breakfast similar. Items running out and appalling "scrambled egg". We won't be going back.
