Comfortable stay and great spa experience We booked a spa package and could not have been happier with the experience and stay. The food was good - with the breakfast being exceptional, with everything being topped up with fresh food constantly. Linny at the spa was very good and Mark was a great ambassador to the hotel and brand

Guests First We attended an event at this hotel and stayed overnight on a corporate package. Check-in was smooth and efficient. Although the booking conditions hadn’t initially been noted, meaning we were asked to pay on arrival instead of charging to the corporate account, this was quickly resolved. The receptionist was delightful, kind, and genuinely apologetic, which made the experience very pleasant. The room was excellent and had everything needed for a comfortable overnight stay. I dined in the restaurant prior to the event, and both the food and wine were outstanding. There was absolutely nothing I would have changed. The only disappointment came later in the evening. After leaving the on-site event, we returned to the main hotel lobby hoping to enjoy a drink with colleagues who were also staying at the hotel. However, we were informed that the bar was closed. This was around 11pm, and I was surprised that hotel residents were unable to relax in the bar area with a drink at that hour. Overall, a very enjoyable stay with just one minor letdown.

Service is everything Recently stayed at the Felbridge for a big family Christmas. Will tell you up front it is not the Savoy in London being a small country motel. What it is, is clean, it is comfortable, rooms are spacious and has an amazing staff. We were a group of 20 for Christmas lunch and truthfully did not have high hopes for lunch. When we went to breakfast was surprised how good it was, so had higher hopes for lunch. They far exceeded my expectations. Lunch was amazing. Was a buffet with a wide selection of lunch items well-presented and all very good. I feared we would have trouble getting drinks but my fears were misplaced. Was all very good. I am in the hospitality business in New York, so if you are reading this and thinking, "they got one meal right" big deal, I will explain what made the Felbridge special. I have worked in hotels, restaurants, catering. Getting it right is not that big of a deal. Finding staff that actually cares about what they are doing and want to provide good service, is near impossible. These people all cared. Front desk people helped with our 90 year old grandparents getting them disability room close to the front desk. When we had an issue with a safe, someone was there in 2 minutes and then would not even accept a tip when offered. Pillows were ordered, complained about the heat, someone showed up to fix. The Hotel general manager and food and beverage manager were in the restaurant constantly working as hard as they could to make sure everything was perfect. For Christmas lunch they gave us the entire back of the restaurant, setting the tables beautifully. The restaurant was never full but I know they said fully booked. So this means they chose to rather limit the number of guests to something they could do well then to see how much money they could make. It is the little things that make a hotel special and a home. I doubt we would have gotten staff that cared more at the Savoy.

Comfortable stay Comfortable room, well equipped, though instructions on TV settings would be helpful. We were upgraded to an executive room, which was huge! Breakfast had plenty of choices. Special thanks to Mark Elwood and receptionists.

Really nice hotel Stayed here for one night before flying from Gatwick. I was surprised at how lovely it was as I only paid £39 for the hotel and parking all together for 3 nights. The hotel itself is really nice and the room was gorgeous too. I had a really comfy sleep in the bed too. Would definitely stay again and the staff were all lovely too!
