Exceptionally considerate and accommodating staff. Exceptionally considerate and accommodating staff. I was quite unwell on my visit but they looked after my things and provided a room to freshen up after a hospital visit. I will look to stay again in the future.

Pleasant stay I visited this hotel for one night as was going to the theatre in Exeter with my daughter and son-in-law. The hotel is opposite Exeter Central railway station and just a few hundred yards to the city centre. Parking at the hotel is very limited, we parked in the multistorey a short distance down the road. Staff at the hotel were lovely, reception in particular. I called the hotel a couple of days before our arrival to ask if my daughter and son in-laws room could have a little decoration as it was her birthday on the day of our stay. This wasn't a problem and I was informed it was complimentary, a very nice touch and she really appreciated it, thank you housekeeping. The hotel is clean as are the rooms which are large with a comfy bed and pillows. There are tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board and TV. We had walk in showers which were powerful and hot. We did have breakfast which was plentiful and hot, so all in all a very good stay and I would recommend.

Lovely stay Went to see Jamie Lawson and the Phoenix and had the BEST time! You can literally fall out of Exeter Central station and land in the hotel, and the Phoenix is 3 minutes away at a slow walk. The hotel is stunning. More like a castle than a hotel and the room was absolutely spotless. The staff are kind and professional, really friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Nothing is too much for them. It's warm and welcoming and doesn't feel like a hotel (if that makes sense). Breakfast is expensive but I might be splitting hairs. They fluffed my order up and I got the wrong thing £17.50 for fried egg and toast is ridiculous. (Order was English breakfast with no bacon). Parking is chargeable but we didn't take a car, and at £259 for 3 nights you don't really complain.

Excellent as always! We have stayed here a few times and always enjoy it so much that we have decided it’s our ‘go to’ hotel when we come to Exeter. Lovely staff, great rooms, perfect location and good prices … what more could you want. We will be back again soon!!
