We came for two nights because it was our anniversary. I actually taught my partner how to play pool and she beat me. Felt very comfortable. The staff were very polite and helpful. We came on our third anniversary. Absolutely amazing bedrooms to bed was so comfortable everything you needed it was right there. Very family orientated. We will definitely be coming back. And the sausages are absolutely scrumptious for breakfast so don’t miss the breakfast guys.

Groupon's Guide To Conwy

Crossed by its namesake river and adjoining the Snowdonia National Park with one-third of its territory, Conwy County Borough boasts unique attractions to keep globetrotters busy while visiting Northern Wales. One of the most notable destinations in the area is the town of Llandudno: dubbed the Queen of the Welsh Resorts, it is the largest Welsh beach destination, beckoning guests with sights such as the Great Orme and the Little Orme, and the award-winning Llandudno pier.

Flourishing heritage tourism is based around monuments such as the late-13th-century Conwy Castle and the Elizabethan-style Plas Mawr, dating back to the 16th century. Sites of the Aber Falls in Abergwyngregyn and the Bodnant Garden in Tal-y-Cafn are also well worth a visit, whereas golf aficionados can spend leisurely break on the Great Orme Family Golf course or on the numerous other courses since the county leaves nothing to be desired in this respect.

Unapologetic & rude Manager We had booked for 2 nights as my partner was doing a 50 mile Snowdon run. Just over a week beforehand we had a message saying they had a large party booking and the restaurant, lounge, games room would be unavailable for our use and the bar would be very busy. We could have a pizza from their outside shed but u assume you would have to sit in your room to eat it. I phoned to say I was disappointed that they had taken our booking knowing the facilities they advertised would be unavailable, the receptionist completely understood it was not ideal. I asked if could have a reduction in the price given the fact we would be consigned to our room and she passed me over to a very unapologetic and curt Manager. The very short answer was no and as i “clearly wouldnt enjoy my stay” (not a lot to enjoy apart from an an average noisy room with worn out beds if you read their reviews which I have now done!!) and he issued a cancellation of my booking. He put the phone down on me!! Ive been in business for 20 years and we rely on good customer service and repeat bookings. If he wants to let his hotel be taken over for a party which will affect other guests - dont take those extra bookings. He clearly wanted to fill his boots and forget everyone else’s comfort and enjoyment.

Overpriced for what you get Good location in village & managed to get parking in hotel car park. Girl working in bar nice and friendly. Bed comfortable. Hotel has a lift. Kids enjoyed the pool table area. Would have given a 7/10 only for issue with shower-We stayed in room 16, could not use shower as water scorching hot even after running it for a v long time. Had to wait until 8am for someone to be at reception to deal with the issue so this delayed our plans for the day. Given a key to another room to use shower, bathroom appeared clean but used hand towel on rail (makeup) & hair on shower wall so cleaning of this bathroom had not been completed. Mentioned this to man at reception, polite but not bothered about the inconvenience etc. just asked did we have our showers? I mentioned some 'refund' but shot down as booked through booking.com. I did let him know that I had found reviews (that morning) about the shower in room 16 so obviously not a new problem. Breakfast just ok, tinned tomatoes, overcooked hash browns and cheap beans. Even with this we enjoyed our time but would not stay again.

Totally Avoid Booked this hotel through Groupon We were informed by the hotel that the rooms apparently allocated for Groupon bookings are not the same standard as if booked direct Our room 21 had the most disgusting bathroom , mould everywhere , taps loose , rusty fittings, loose door strip , cracked tiles , appliances thick with dust Housekeeping non existent , cups left dirty, bins not emptied etc Breakfast is pre cooked so whst you order is literally put on a plate from a warming oven , eggs were hard You had to serve yourself tea and coffee no table service Don't pay the supplement for the steak as it didn't come cooked as requested Food okay if you like lots of frozen chips! AVOID AT ALL COST!
