Fabulous Experience What a lovely experience. Not stayed in this hotel for many years so was not sure what to expect. It was clean, spacious, the bed was amazing so comfortable, even though we were at the front of the hotel it was really quiet, best night sleep for us both in ages. It had been my friend’s birthday and I was in hospital having a quite serious op so celebration’s had been delayed. The staff were amazing so helpful and friendly. Abra was one of the reception staff front of house she was such a joy and a real credit to the hotel. We were lucky to have an upgrade for my friend’s birthday and when we got to the room it had been decorated with balloons and a few added extras. Breakfast was good plenty of choice and good quality nice strong coffee as well. I must say I look forward to our next visit soon. The only shame was they have a loyalty card I could not get on my phone until we called back for our bags and it was too late to add as we had checked out.

Awful Awful experience of this hotel,having stayed at 2 other leonardo hotels in different parts of the country and had a very pleasant experience we were very disappointed in this one :( The rooms were very tired and needed modernisation,however the location was ideal and a great view for people watching from the window. We went to winter wonderland only to return to find the floors in both our rooms vibrating from the Christmas party below,I could actually feel the floor moving which is not something I've ever experienced in a hotel before,went to reception to be dealt with by a very rude member of staff and then somebody more helpful came along and moved us to rooms in what could only be described as in the roof,no view only of other rooftops and a damp musty smell,would never ever go to a leonardo again after that experience

My wife’s 70th birthday celebration in Cardiff I can only say that the Cardiff Leonardo Hotel staff are amazing. They had an issue which they couldn’t solve, but they did their utmost to make our stay very pleasurable. I want to mention David the op manager and Abra on reception who did her most to make us stay comfortable and very pleasurable. We will return, as we’re looking forward to exploring Cardiff again and staying at this wonderful hotel

Not a favourite, despite good location Lovely reception staff. Facilities fine. Location good. Room was chilly, view awful, found nail on carpet...didn't feel as clean as should/could be. Hence not best value for money.
