Decent hotel in nice setting Quiet hotel in nice settings with good food and decent leisure facilities. Bar and restaurant areas are nicely furnished. Very good drinks selections, and similarly breakfast but evening meal menu could have been better. Good sized rooms with comfortable bed but our room was in need of an update - especially bathroom (can’t stand shower curtains in a bath). Very little noise insulation in rooms and we were kept awake hearing guests in other rooms talking well into early hours. Disappointing as believed some rooms had been updated and hotel was extremely quiet so strange we weren’t allocated an updated room.

Great 2025-26 New Year Celebration We stayed at Langstone Quays for New Year 25/26 - our room was very kindly upgraded... and we were gifted a bottle of bubbles... we were welcomed to the party room with a glass of bubbles, and there was a very nice group of people at our table. The dinner was delicious and served promptly and hot, the DJ started at 9.00pm and he was really great.... we did lot of dancing, then more dancing, finishing with the brilliant "YMCA" and countdown and another glass of bubbles to celebrate the new year. The next morning finished with a delightful full breakfast !! We really enjoyed the party evening, sleep over and welcoming breakfast. The staff were all kind and helpful. Thank you for a great stay, we shall certainly recommend The Langstone to friends and invite others to join us for New Year 2026. Janet and Dorothy.

Dreadful, tired hotel Dreadful, tired hotel. Room 187 Poor breakfast, tasteless sausages and cheese, cheap processed bread, cheap and cheerful at best. Threadbare carpets, flaking vinyl upholstery. Small beds, thin quilts, flat pillows. Rusting chrome bathroom fittings. Bath plug leached water, so had to top up bath every 5 minutes. Our harbour view was over the waste storage area of the hotel, not a view to boast of . Worst of all, radiators turned off in all rooms, even in winter, with Dyson electric heaters as a poor substitute. We were given different stories about the heating, but, whatever the truth, our room was cold all the time. That was over £100 per night for the worst hotel experience ever. Only good point was housekeeping who are fighting against the odds to offer a reasonable experience.

Great new years stay! We stayed here New Year’s Eve. The hotel is a little dated but was very clean and tidy. We didn’t attend the new years party’s but ate in the restaurant, the food was incredible and the service/staff were amazing, everyone was very attentive and helpful. A great selection or drinks. There was no heating but we had a Dyson heater that worked well and suited us fine. The breakfast was great, help yourself style and was being replenished frequently. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and the price, will definitely we staying again!
