lovely hotel for price I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, the room we had was clean and well maintained plenty of tea and coffee for our stay, only complaint about the room was the shower head was not adjustable and very high which made it slightly awkward for my 4ft 11 frame, but that was only a small gripe. All the staff were friendly and super helpful. Big shout out to Carol, and Lisa in the restaurant and also to Jamie ( Olly Muirs lookalike ) in the bar, The entertainment was fantastic and made our stay that extra bit special. Lastly the food there was plenty of choice at breakfast with multiple cereal choices, toast and a full English Breakfast buffet style you could even request poached eggs. The evening meal consisted of soup, and a couple of starters, a choice of main meals and a large choice of desserts with tea and coffee. Even the drinks at the bar weren’t too expensive. So to conclude our group were delighted with our stay and would recommend a stay here.

Night from hell We have stayed in this hotel a few times before so booked to go back. Omg never again the reception staff are rude and unhelpful. We was dumped in a room that was at the back of the stage at one point dolly parton walked out the bathroom to go on stage. We payed £15 for late check out we did not sleep all night as the noise was horrendous. We had people trying the bedroom door the room above us didn't shut up with music and talking all night probably one of the worse hotel experiences we have ever had go else where its awful

Disappointing holiday We usually love it at the Lyndene as we have been going there for about a year now ,however this time it was ruined by being put in a noisy room ,that made it impossible to have an early night,it wasn't a problem Friday and Saturday as we watched the entertainment and then went to bed ,but on Sunday we thought we would go to bed about 10.30 and the noise of the entertainment made it impossible to sleep as my bed might as well been on the stage downstairs it was that loud.Plus then there was the added annoyance of an extremely noisy neighbour in the next room shouting loudly banging about till about 5.30 in morning resulting in zero sleep.I would like to add that I have never been a fan of the breakfast at the Lyndene but this time it seemed very noisy ,crowded and disorganised and the scrambled egg was very dried up ,and no one came to our table to see if we wanted tea or coffee pots.So alll in all a disappointment because in the past we have always found the staff very helpful and attentive and can only hope it was a one off experience. Oh and let's not forget the couple up to no good in the mens toilets in the entertainment area.

Lovely place First time staying at the lyndene hotel. Lovely hotel with a great location. Very clean and good choice of breakfast and tea. Entertainment on an evening was brilliant, with great atmosphere. The staff were lovely and friendly, one member of staff in particular made us feel so welcome with his friendly vibe and was so nice to have a laugh and joke with him. JAMIE from the bar is a credit to the lyndene hotel such a nice guy. The rooms were nice but a bit too warm at times. The hotel was good value for money for what you get.
