Friendly, welcoming, and professional Had the most fantastic afternoon. I regularly have massages to help with my migraines, so I’m quite particular and the one I had with Macie was genuinely the best I’ve ever experienced. She worked through every knot and I left feeling completely restored. The service at the desk from Jacob and Charlie was equally brilliant - friendly, welcoming and professional. I’ll definitely be back (and back in my robe and slippers!) very soon.

Disappointing! We have stayed at this hotel before and it was good so I had high expectations but I was left sorely disappointed. We had tried to book a family room as my 12 and 14 year old children are autistic but I was told on booking that we had to have a twin room and a double as my kids were too old for the family room. On check in, we discovered our rooms were 3 rooms apart, my husband and I were not comfortable with this. This problem took over 3 hours to rectify! It was NOT the receptionists' fault as she was lovely and caring but reception was busy and there was no one to help her or relieve her to take care of this problem. Housekeeping had not cleaned all of the rooms so the receptionist had to clean a room for us that was opposite our children. The receptionist offered us a free drink which despite ordering before our meal, came after our meal. For £20 a meal in the restaurant, the food was good but not worth that amount of money, the service was substandard at best. We booked a deal that included breakfast but did not feel that the breakfast was worth the £20 per person that it normally is. We did not receive the room service breakfast the second morning as we booked it for 6am and was told that morning that they don't do room service so early. Also be aware that the bar does not serve bar snacks after 6pm so you are forced to eat in the over priced restaurant or go elsewhere.

Worst spa experience ever Here’s a polished, clear version of your review that keeps your strong feelings but improves structure and impact: ⸻ If I could give this 0 stars, I would. My mum, sister and I visited today for what was meant to be a relaxing spa day. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. To start with, the treatments were absolutely diabolical. All three of us had different therapists, yet every experience was equally awful. My sister, who has mild psoriasis (declared at the start), was made to feel like a freak. The therapist highlighted her skin condition and refused to touch the affected area, which left her feeling extremely uncomfortable and upset. Her massage itself was very disjointed — starting with one arm but not the other — and far too rough on her back. My own treatment was no better. The room was freezing cold, the massage technique was poor, and the therapist left the room several times during the session. She also yawned loudly throughout, which was incredibly unprofessional and completely ruined any chance of relaxation. The changing rooms were absolutely disgusting — filthy beyond belief. There was faeces on a toilet seat, a large clump of hair in the drain, toilet paper all over the floor, and an overflowing bin. We were there for three hours and none of this was cleaned during that time. The poolside area was packed with nowhere to sit, which defeats the whole purpose of coming to relax. It was also dirty, with empty cups and leftover food left lying around the entire time. We had booked an “afternoon tea,” which was another disappointment. The service was rude, it took over 45 minutes to arrive, and the sandwiches were frankly inedible — we couldn’t even identify what some of the fillings were. I asked for more tea, which never came. The spa layout itself is very disjointed — if you want a simple cup of tea or coffee, you have to walk all the way to the main restaurant. The robes provided were ripped and tatty, in a very poor condition. Overall, this was a vile experience. We will not be returning and will be requesting a full refund.

Poor. The floor in the (unattended) bar was filthy which is very off - putting. The drinks were expensive. The bar area is dull and depressing.
