GREAT STAY We booked through a voucher on groupon for a night away & had a lovely stay. Staff on reception were very friendly. The room was very spacious and clean. Shower was powerful and warm and bed very comfy. We used the pool facility and were the only ones in there, all facilities clean and working. Breakfast in the morning was lovely and the late check out an extra bonus! Thanks for a great stay.

Hope Hotel is better than Spa Spa facility is a joke, unattended reception desk and towels provided are the size of tea towels. spoke to a health club member in sauna and was told the spa pool jacuzzi has been broken for more than 4 months and probably will never be fixed due to costs involved. As the spa has no staff there are used towels just thrown on floor in changing room which was also dirty and a bit smelly Have to feel sorry for any couple booking a weekend break away and thinking they are going chill out in spa !

Very Poor Customer Service I booked one night in this hotel as I was planning to meet somewhere there the next morning at 8am. The room was a good size, clean and the bed was comfortable. I had a meal in the restaurant that night which was also good with fresh vegetables. However, the next morning the shower conversion button did not work so I could not take a shower. Unfortunately, the plug did not go down in the bath tub so I could not have a bath either! I tried to call reception on the room telephone but none of the buttons worked by which time I needed to leave for breakfast and my meeting. I spoke with the receptionist - who offered no apology - and she said that she could do nothing about it as I had booked through a third party (Booking.com). I said that I wasn't happy about that as the problem was with the hotel and not the booking company but she was adamant that she was not able to do anything and she also refused to give me the contact details of the manager. I was not expecting - nor did I ask for - a refund, but some common courtesy and customer service would have been helpful. I shall definitely not be staying here again and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Avoid Met with a colleage at the hotel. Spent a lot of money on lunch. Paid for parking on exit to a very disinterested receptionist. Got sent a fine for £100 for not paying for parking. Spoke to hotel who advised me that they don't own the parking there !!! Head Office doesn't appear to exit.

Wouldn't book again check before you go Stayed here for a Groupon deal which included use of spa facilities. My husband and I were looking forward to using the jacuzzi but on checking in were told it was out of order. Had we have known this prior to checking in we would of transferred the booking to another time when the jacuzzi was working. Rooms were dated and need of maintenance. Broken door in bathroom dirty carpets. Food was ok and the bar area was cosy .won't be booking again after contacting the hotel and getting ignored _
