Relaxing with stunning views Beautiful Victorian hotel, a lot of work has been done to upgrade since our last visit in 2021. Dave, the concierge was amazingly friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic room with a great view, even beautiful in the rain. Live music on all 3 nights of our stay, making a great atmosphere except for one night where the music and mic was unnecessarily loud when the gentleman was singing, we took ourselves to another lounge to finish our drinks and chat whilst enjoying the music at a better level, we love live music, but in a lounge where you can’t finish a conversation without shouting over the music, it takes the pleasure out of it. All staff, bar etc were very friendly and efficient. Spindles spa always a pleasure to use. Thank you again. We will be back soon. _

Dog unfriendly It’s a dog friendly hotel ? However it is a very unfriendly dog owner hotel £20 to take our dog but no provision for the dog at all Went down to dinner with dog not allowed on any part of the dining room Told we could have dinner £37.90 for 2 but we would have to carry the dinners up to our room, took the empty plate’s back down and went into the bar for a drinks Guess what No dogs allowed in any bar. This is the most unfriendly dog friendly hotel I have ever encountered Never again

I can’t believe the change We stopped booking The Royal Bath a few years ago because it had gone downhill. Totally changed my mind now. They have made remarkable changes. Excellent service, staff were the best and we will definitely stay again. They gave us a lovely room at such a reasonable price because walking too far was a problem at the time.

Excellent hotel, location, staff and event venue! This hotel is beautiful inside and the staff are excellent. Dave, the Concierge, is the best I have encountered outside of the Savoy in London and Rhys in events couldn't have done more to make the event go smoothly. Excellent venue for events and the Oscar Wilde connection was a treat for me. I will return as often as I can - I cant praise it enough.
