Comfortable 2 night stay in Bath My Mum and I stayed here for two nights whilst visiting Bath and we really enjoyed our stay! The room was pleasant and cozy with a very comfortable bed and large bathroom. The staff in particular were what really made our stay special - they were so friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and always asked how we were on our way in which was a really nice touch! The hotel itself is just a short walk away from Bath city centre so it is really convenient location wise. A special thank you to Nenita and Paula who really stood out with their exceptional customer service. We would definitely come again!

Visitors may also admire the 18th century Royal Crescent, a curved strip of remarkable Georgian façades, including a museum, and the Bath Abbey, built between the 12th and 16th centuries. A little further, visitors may find the 18th century No. 1 Royal Crescent, a Georgian townhouse that paints a portrait of the city in its glory days, while a walk along the Brock Street brings travellers to another Georgian architectural masterpiece, the Circus.

Perfect Weekend Break We stayed for a long weekend at The Ayrlington as we were travelling by train and wanted to stay somewhere without needing the car. This hotel is only half a mile from the historic Pulteney Bridge and Roman Baths, so the perfect location. The staff are all amazing! We are an older couple and on arrival, the receptionist carried both our cases up to the second floor. We met 6 different staff members during our stay, and all greeted us with a smile and asked how our days were going etc. It made us feel so welcome. The hotel is listed so retains many original features and is decorated sensitively to the period. There is secondary double glazing to retain the old sash windows, and some windows are left without to ease opening them. There were ample radiators to keep it warm and cosy. The bathroom had been modernised with a beautiful bath with overbath shower. Welcome tea tray had all we needed and was replenished each day. Breakfast was a Continental with plenty of choice, or a cooked breakfast. We had the former as it was more than enough to set us up till lunch time, my particular favourite was the fresh fruit. But the main beauty of our stay was our view! It was amazing!

Time capsule! Prime location! This hotel hired decorators to give you the feeling of times past. Furniture, silk flowers, traditional breakfast room, etc. Very nice. Unfortunately, 21st century things are not working, like eMail ("limit exceeded*), answering telephone during office hours, returning calls when asked, cleanliness, bathroom fixture wobbly, also leg of one armchair.

Best weekend away The staff in this Hotel are out of this world. They couldn’t do enough for us the room the suite the ground suite that I requested my fiance’s birthday was done with balloons and confetti on the bed. The young lady on reception shown us around the Hotel and the history of it. She was very charming and sweet and The slightly older lady with her was just as charming. It made us stay more memorable and I’ll be definitely coming back. I can’t rate this Hotel high enough.

Brilliant location, lovely hotel, great staff Don’t normally write reviews but we had such a lovely stay at The Arlington we wanted to share our experience. The location was absolutely perfect, and hotel was very clean and tidy. Our room was lovely overlooking the garden and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and we will definitely book again. A big thank you to all the staff, especially Bianca on reception who we had a laugh with - ja ja ja!
